Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 August 2026

This page is a translation provided for information purposes. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
These Terms apply to the one-time purchase of a CV PDF for CHF 4.90 via the payment provider Payrexx. Before actual go-live of the payment process, only the technical confirmation of the Payrexx account (verification, webhook test) remains outstanding — this version itself is unaffected.

1. Scope and provider

These Terms apply to the use of CV-EXPRESS, operated by Samuel Bebi, Schwarzhaar 39, 4665 Oftringen, Switzerland (hereinafter "CV-EXPRESS"). They govern the creation, translation, PDF export and optional email delivery of resumes.

2. Service

CV-EXPRESS provides a digital tool. Users enter their own information, choose the design and language, and can generate a resume as a PDF and send it to a specified email address. Translations are machine-generated and must be reviewed by the user before use. CV-EXPRESS does not warrant linguistic, technical or legal accuracy, nor application success.

3. Formation of contract and price

The free data entry and preview do not create any entitlement to the paid export. The contract for the PDF export is formed once CV-EXPRESS confirms the payment server-side after successful settlement and unlocks the export. The price shown at the time the contract is formed is decisive. A one-time price of CHF 4.90 per complete PDF export is intended, unless otherwise clearly indicated at checkout.

4. Payment

Payment is processed via Payrexx. Payment data is not stored by CV-EXPRESS. Unlocking occurs only after successful server-side webhook confirmation from Payrexx. In case of a failed, cancelled or unconfirmed payment, there is no entitlement to export or delivery.

5. Cooperation and permitted use

Users are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawful use of the data entered. No unlawful, misleading or third-party-rights-infringing content may be entered. Particularly sensitive data, notably health data or religious or political information, should not be entered unless strictly necessary for the resume.

6. Availability and technical limits

CV-EXPRESS strives for reasonable availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security measures, third-party outages or force majeure may temporarily limit use.

7. Email delivery

Optional delivery is made to the address entered by the user. CV-EXPRESS accepts no responsibility for typos, spam filters, mailbox restrictions or recipient-system outages. Successful technical delivery does not constitute proof of receipt.

8. Refunds

In the event of a demonstrable technical malfunction that makes a paid export impossible despite reasonable cooperation, CV-EXPRESS will consider re-provision or a refund on a case-by-case basis. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.

9. Liability

CV-EXPRESS is liable without limitation only for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and to the extent required by mandatory law. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular, there is no liability for application outcomes, translation errors, browser data loss, indirect damages, or third-party services.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Payrexx's own data protection terms additionally apply to the payment process.

11. Changes

CV-EXPRESS may amend these Terms for future orders. For a contract already concluded, the version published at the time of formation applies, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted, the operator's registered office or domicile in Switzerland.
